Quantum Labs Recruitment is working with a high-growth technology team in Eindhoven that is building out its cloud security and SecOps capability. This role sits between security engineering, cloud operations, and incident response, with a clear brief to reduce risk while keeping delivery teams moving.
The successful candidate will help define practical guardrails for cloud services, tune monitoring and detection rules, and respond to security events across modern infrastructure. It is a strong fit for someone who can combine technical depth with calm, structured analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor cloud environments for threats, misconfiguration, suspicious access, and operational risk.
- Develop detection rules, playbooks, and response processes for cloud and application security events.
- Work with DevOps teams to embed identity, logging, vulnerability management, and secure deployment controls.
- Support security reviews, incident investigations, remediation tracking, and stakeholder reporting.
What you will bring
- Experience in SecOps, cloud security, SOC engineering, or security-focused platform operations.
- Good knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP security services, SIEM tooling, and alert triage.
- Understanding of IAM, network segmentation, container security, and vulnerability management.
- The ability to explain technical risk clearly to engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
